Mary Loring is a joy to sail and to own.
She is an easy boat to sail single handed because when you hoist the main sail she will sit there like a duck in water and
not move much or sail away. When you then hoist the Jib she will take off sailing on the tact you set. You
then hoist the Staysail as she heads up slowly into the wind , go back to the cockpit take the untethered tiller,
set your course, stand up, put the tiller between your legs, haul in on the jib sheets and your sailing! Taking
down the sails is the reverse sequence.
